Unknown part...

Hallo,

On a recently found spar part (1m.) on which steering cables are visible there is the number 51847 and text on a bolt is W SPEC A
Is this British or American made ? It was found at our beach at Castricum, NL.

Correction on the number as it should read 51841. Other numbers found in the meantime are 52458 4, (R27), (110), 51659 and text on a few bolts is AIR (stylized) Associates.
