    Knopf-Identifizierung

I found this button today. My first military button in germany. Can anyone tell me how old it might be. I believe it is Artillery.

    Any help would be appreciated

    Hi Richard,

congratulations - nice button! For me it looks military, too. And I think it is a French one, because AFAIR I have seen this bomb-sign before in a Napoleonic Wars' context. Maybe Zeitzer can help us!

    Best regards,
    Guenter

PS: I found a similar sign on a French WWII artillery helmet - http://www.germaniainternational.com...thelwwii02.jpg
