ich hab fur meinen ace 250 damals glaub ich 210€ gezahlt, inclusive versand ins Ausland.

Dann hab ich hier im forum was über Fälschungen von Garett gelesen, somit hab ich direkt den garett service kontaktiert und ihm die seriennummer des detektors gegeben und gefragt ob es qualitätsunterschiede gibt (eastern european ware)

Daraufhin sagte man mir das genaue herstellungsdatum und das es sich scheinbar um ein original handelt.

Dear Sir:



Every Garret detector has an 8 digit serial number. For the Ace series detectors, it is located on the bottom side of the bulk head assembly where the coil cable plugs into the head; you might need to unplug the cable to read the number - if you will send us the number, we can verify the product and give you the date of manufacture as well. This number also will tell us whether or not the unit is still covered under warranty - Garrett always honors the warranty as long as it is in date and whether or not you are the original purchaser.



To answer you question regarding manufacturing differences, Garrett does not sell what we would refer to as "seconds" or products with manufacturing defects however slight (what you are calling "B") either overseas or domestically.



You have indicated you are in Lower Austria; our official European distributor is DTI in Germany. They are also authorized to act on our behalf when it involves repair (under warranty or not). They are very diligent. If you need their assistance or need to contact them, they will be happy to assist you.

Aber ist ein Händler als seriös einzustufen, wenn er das OKM-Gold-auf-100km-find-Zeugs im Programm hat???
