Diskussion XLT vs. Explorer vs. GTI 2500

Ich habe einige interessante Beiträge zum Thema Explorer in amerikanischen Foren entdeckt u.a.:

"Participated in Wis. state compitition hunt in July and was surprised by the couple of guys using the explorer. The silver coins were buried 1/2 to 2 " deep and the explorer users were digging holes big enough to put a bowling ball into and still not finding them sometimes. Guess they don't pinpoint worth a darn! Most of the folks who I saw pick one up (explorer) walked away laughing! Ever notice that the only forum that ever has a lot of good to say about the Ex. is the one where all the dealers and shills for it hang out. And by the way I did follow an explorer at the compitition and pulled a lot of shallow planted coins right behind them with my little old Tesoro. Whites, Fisher and Tesoro's (including a couple of Shadows) dominated this hunt. Minelabs and Garretts should have stayed home as usual! Art"

Ich habe noch mehr Beiträge gefunden, sogar im BBS-Forum, allerdings hätte dies hier den Rahmen gesprengt. Ich finde diese hier passen ganz gut zu dem bereits gesagtem.

das Thema wird doch ein wenig einseitig ins Licht gestellt.
Du wirst im WWW reichlich *pro* und reichlich *contra*- Meinungen zum Explorer wie auch zum XLT finden.

Hi Himdall,

zu den Beiträgen der (doofen) Amis will ich mal kurz was sagen: Wenn die zu dumm sind mit dem Ex. ein Signal zu Pinpointen und Riesenlöcher graben, dann sind die selber Schuld, dass der Ex. eine wesentlich größere Suchfläche hat, kommt von der Abstrahlung der Spule, das ist doch wohl jedem klar, welche Vorteile das hat, kann sich jeder selbst austesten: Nimm mal deine Fingerspitze und gehe über eine Scheibe mit Regentropfen darauf (das ist das Abstrahlverhalten aller herkömmlichen Spulen in der Max Suchtiefe), wieviel Tropfen hast Du erwischt?? Jetzt nimm mal einen Scheibenwischer und gehe über die Scheibe mit den Tropfen (Das ist das Abstrahlverhalten der Minelabspulen -Musk., Sov., Expl. in der maximalen Suchtiefe) wievile Tropfen hast Du jetzt erwischt?? Also kann man sich vorstellen, welche Flächen mit den beiden Systemen abgesucht werden! Daß das Pinpointen mit Minelabgeräten gelernt sein muß, ist jedem klar, der damit (mit den Geräten) umgehen knn, wenn man ein Signal hat, zieht man die Spule so lange nach hinten, biss das Signal abreist, jetzt liegt das Objekt direkt mittig vor der Spule und man kann Punktgenau graben, aber das werden die Amy`s wohl nie begreifen!!

richtig !
ist doch auch völlig normal, dass man die Handhabung *seiner Sonde* zuerst einmal erlernen muss. Egal ob 200Mark Detektor oder
aufwendigeres Gerät.
Und den Explorer *erlernt* man relativ schnell, weil die Menüführung sehr gut ist.
