Suche Karten für umgebung Kaiserslautern und Mainz, Rockenhausen und Winnweiler mit alte strasse und burgen markieert. Wolle nicht bei dem burgen, aber die strassen dazu. Auch karten mit bad seehen und alte kermis feldern.

What do you mean with "bad seehen" and "alte kermis" ??? If you don't know the words in german, try it in english !

In my second home Stuttgart, I've some old papers from the area .

One is a card from Speyer.Kaiserslautern from about 1813.

There is only one Problem, I'm in the Oberpfalz near Regensburg at work.

Alte Winnweiler karten

Sorry for the delay in answering, unfortunately I´ve got a ruptered disc in my back (Gerissene bandscheiben). Yes, I meant lakes that are used for bathing, also old watering holes and wells, old streets and pathways/bridle way´s etc.. My main interest si the 30 year war uptill Napoleon. and as a lot of villages in the area as well as the castles were laid to ruin during this period, it will be interesting to investigate it.
In answer to what I´m doing over here, I used to be Military, then I married a Dutch girl and lived in Venlo, NL, then I got divorced and now I have a new girlfriend down here in the Pfalz. So I thought I´de get into the local history, as Celtic to Roman, and early middle ages are well covered, I thought of looking into the less well known history of my new home. Although I haven´t started detecting here yet, want to get all the paperwork and permits in order first.
